ART EXPLORERS: K-3rd Grades
With new projects each week, these classes focus on investigating specific media including painting, drawing, and collage to bring ideas to life.
During the one hour and 30-minute class children will explore a variety of art media and develop their observational skill .
This workshop is designed to develop drawing, painting, and observational skills.
New projects each week include manga (Japanese comics and graphic novels), comic strips, collages, and printmaking, as well as painting and drawing in the studio.
Kids will be introduced to artwork by Picasso, Freida Kahlo, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, among others.
